
Those participating in this placement included Pension Funds, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Portfolio Managers, Stock Brokers and Banks which generated a broad base of bondholders.
According to Rodolfo Véliz, General Manager of Watt's S.A., "this placement reflects the market response before a company with continuous growth, financial solidness, with annual sales of USD 500 million and comprised of 100% Chilean capital".
"Throughout the years, we have become the most diversified company in the food and wine industries with a regional presence through our subsidiaries in South America and worldwide via exports to 85 countries which include milk products, fruit derivatives, oils and wines", remarked Véliz.
Then Sebastián Cereceda, Corporate Finance Manager of LarrainVial, added that "the result obtained demonstrates the great strengths that Watt's has as an issuer in this, its third bond issue in Chile, the solidness of its business model and the excellent moment it is enjoying".
The funds raised shall be utilized only and exclusively for refinancing the issuer's debt.
