Energy Savings: Faced with the current energy scenario, the company has implemented an energy savings plan based on projects and campaigns aimed at the efficient use of energy.
Within this framework, in 2005 the company received the Energy Efficiency Prize, awarded by the Production and Commerce Confederation of Chile, jointly with the Ministry of the Economy. The prize was the result of several years' work developing programmes to improve energy efficiency.

Agreement on Clean Production (ACP): With the purpose of developing the sustainable development of San Bernardo, in the year 2005, Watt's, together with 20 other companies in the municipal commune, signed a voluntary agreement in which they were committed to the reduction of solid residues.
In June 2008, after the Lonquén and San Bernardo plants were audited and certified, Watt's received a significant recognition from the Association of Industries of San Bernardo and the National Council for Clean Production due to its compliance with this agreement.
