Our CompanyOur CommitmentInvestorsHealth and Well- beingWatt s in the world

One of the pillars of Watt's management is the commitment with those who form the base of the company: its employees. Thus, Watt's encourages and supports the overall development of its personnel, focussing on safeguarding security, professional growth, the promotion of good labour relations and the quality of life.

Security above all.
For many years, Watt's has been working on promoting a security culture which has led to all the players committing themselves, and to internalise the risk prevention measures. The current accident rate in Watt's is well below the industry average and the target is to get to "zero accidents".

Employability: Professional development and support in studies. Watt's seeks to count on people who are motivated, committed and competent. This is a philosophy based on developing human resource policies to foment the employability of its human capital, giving special priority to internal promotion, training and support in studies..

Good labour relations. Internal labour relations are based on confidence and permanent dialogue, a fact that is reflected in the encouraging results of the Opinion Polls on the Working Climate and in the collective negotiations with our nine unions.

Quality of Life. Watt´s seeks the overall development of its workers and for this reason programs have been instituted to improve their quality of life beyond their working environment.

  •  Programme for Recovering Incomplete Schooling:After three years since this programme was implemented, 418 workers have completed their Secondary Education and the best from each graduation has been awarded a scholarship to Higher Technical Studies

  • Housing Programme: Thanks to the support and advice provided by the company, there are today, 256
workers saving to buy their own homes and 61 have obtained the state housing subsidy level.

    • Prevention of Alcohol and Drug Abuse: Purely from a preventative viewpoint this programme seeks to provide information and advice to those addicted to alcohol or drugs.
