This is one of the most important food processing companies in Peru, with an important market share in liquid milks, yoghurt, nectars, cheese, butter, margarine, and hams and sausages in general.

It has had a presence in the Peruvian market since 1910 with recognized brands such as Laive, Swiss, La Preferida and Watt´s.

Watt's SA holds 37.49% of the shares and the company is managed through a shareholders' agreement with a local partner.

The facilities of this subsidiary of Watt's are located in Ypane, 27 km from the city of Asunción, Paraguay.

Its main products are juices in Tetra Pak containers, which are mostly sold in the local market.

At the end of 2006, Watt´s S.A. and CCU formed a joint venture to produce, market and sell fruit nectars, juices, fruit drinks, milk beverages and others.

For this purpose, the two partners created a company called Promarca, jointly owned in equal parts by Watt's and CCU.

The purpose of this association is to boost the development and value of the Watt's brands, Watt's, Ice Frut, Yogu Yogu and Shake Shake.

This partnership has already proven to be a success, with the launching of Watt's Kids, Watt's Plus and Watt's Soya.
